How to print
- Press Print, or use your browser's Print command (Ctrl+P, or ⌘+P on a Mac). Only the picture and its key print. The menus and this text stay on screen.
- Print in color so the key shows each number's color. Wide paintings print best with the paper turned sideways ("Landscape" in the print settings).
- Choose another painting from the list to print that one instead. Tick "Add a page with the finished picture" to print it colored in, as a guide.

Questions
The numbers are small. Can I make them bigger?
Turn the paper sideways for a wide painting, and leave the scale at 100%. For the biggest spaces, color the picture on screen instead: our Color by Number lets you zoom in as far as you like.
Where do the paintings come from?
They are public-domain paintings and prints from The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Open Access collection. The painter and title are printed at the foot of the page.
