Andy Leverenz makes Card & Puzzle Games. It is a small independent site.

You get classic card games and puzzles that open ready to play. You don't sign up, download anything or click through anything before your first move. Your own browser keeps your settings, games in progress, wins and best times, so you don't need an account.

How the games are made

• We wrote the rules for every game on this site, from Solitaire and Spider to Mahjong, Minesweeper and Jigsaw.
• A computer solver checks each daily Solitaire and FreeCell deal before it goes up, so you can win every one. We check that each daily Spider deal opens with a move.
• We build each Mahjong board by playing it backwards, so you can always clear it. We check each Minesweeper board so you can solve it by logic, without guessing.
• A solver checks that each Sudoku puzzle has exactly one solution, and we grade each one by the techniques it needs.
• We wrote the word search themes and word lists for this site. We check each grid against a filter list to keep offensive words out of the filler letters.
• The picture cards are Adrian Kennard's public-domain deck. The jigsaws are public-domain paintings from The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The credits list every source.

Easy to see and play

In Settings you can choose large cards and print, high-contrast or dark colors, and text up to twice the normal size. Every game has unlimited undo and no time limit, and you can make every move by tapping instead of dragging. The accessibility page has the details.
