How to play Clock Solitaire
Clock Solitaire deals the deck into thirteen piles of four face-down cards: twelve round a clock face and one in the middle. The piles stand for the ranks: Ace at one o'clock, 2 at two o'clock, and so on to the Queen at twelve. The Kings belong in the middle.
- Turn over the top card of the middle pile. Put it face up under the pile for its rank: a 5 goes under five o'clock.
- Then turn over the top face-down card of that pile, and put it under its own pile. Keep going.
- The game ends when the fourth King turns up. If every other card is face up by then, the clock has come out and you win.
- Tap the glowing pile, or choose Turn the next card. Play to the end turns the rest at once.
There are no choices to make: the deal decides everything, and one deal in 13 comes out. Every daily Clock comes out.

Questions
Is there any skill in Clock Solitaire?
No. Every card's place is decided by the deal, so it plays the same way whatever you do. It's a relaxing game of chance, and you can play it out card by card or all at once.
How often does Clock come out?
One deal in 13, exactly. The game ends on the fourth King, and the last card turned is equally likely to be any of the 13 ranks.
Does the daily Clock come out?
Yes. We pick each daily deal so that it comes out, so you can watch it finish every day.
