How to print

Press Print, or use your browser's Print command (Ctrl+P, or ⌘+P on a Mac). Only the puzzles print. The menus and this text stay on screen.
Everything fits on one sheet of US Letter or A4 paper. Leave the scale at 100% (or "Default") for the biggest print.
One puzzle to a page gives the biggest squares, about an inch wide, with room to write. Two to a page saves paper.
Choose New puzzles for a different set. Tick "Add an answer page" to print the answers on a separate sheet.

You may print and photocopy these puzzles as often as you like: for yourself, and for care homes, senior centers, libraries, churches, clubs and schools. Hand them out at an activity session or put them in a newsletter. There's nothing to pay and no need to ask. Please leave the web address at the bottom of each page, and don't sell the puzzles.

How hard are these crosswords?

Easy. Each grid is 5 squares across, and the clues are plain definitions and fill-in-the-blanks, such as "Once ___ a time". No trivia or modern slang.
