How to play Trivia
Each quiz is ten multiple-choice questions. Every question has four answers, and one of them is right.
- Tap or click the answer you think is right. You can also press the keys A, B, C or D, or 1 to 4.
- The right answer is marked straight away, with a short "Did you know?" fact to go with it. Then choose Next question.
- There's no time limit. Take as long as you like over each question.
- At the end you'll see your score, with every question and its answer.
- Start over begins the same quiz again. New quiz gives you ten different questions.
Where the questions come from
We write every question ourselves, then a second check confirms each answer against a standard reference such as an encyclopedia. Anything we can't confirm is left out. If you think an answer is wrong, please tell us: the About page says how to reach us.
The daily quiz
The daily trivia quiz is ten questions on mixed topics, the same for everyone, and new every day at your local midnight. The calendar on the daily page lets you go back to days you missed.
