How to play Summer Word Search
Find every word in the list. Words run in straight lines through the grid of letters.
- Tap the first letter of a word, then tap its last letter. You can also drag across the word.
- If your second tap lands a little off the line, the game picks the nearest straight line.
- Easy puzzles have words across and down. Medium adds diagonals. Hard puzzles hide words in every direction, including backwards.
- Each word you find gets a circle in the grid and a line through it on the list. There is no time limit, and Hint shows the first letter of a word you haven't found yet.
Tips
- Scan for an unusual letter in the word, such as a Q, Z or X, rather than the first letter.
- Search one direction at a time: across, then down, then diagonals.
- Tap the first letter, then the last: you don't have to drag.
Keyboard
Arrow keys move between letters. Press Enter on the first letter of a word, move to the last letter, and press Enter again. Escape cancels a selection.
